Amps for the 2018 and newer G chassis BMWs:
Currently we only offer the Stage One and Ghost Subwoofer upgrades for the newer BMW models. Our New Revenant Pro amplifier is not yet compatible with the newer G chassis models.
The new G chassis cars use a new idrive communication protocol with the amplifiers and there is not a working adapter available yet, which prevents us from offering the Revenant Pro for these models.
Unfortunately, at this point we do not have an ETA for when this will be available. Due to the nature of the development of the adapter it is hard to say exactly when, or even approximately when that may be. Rest assured we would like this out as badly as you, and I apologize that I’m not able to provide a date of when that will be available.
Amps for older generation E chassis BMWs:
Unfortunately, the Revenant Pro amplifier upgrade isn't compatible with your generation BMW and we don't have any plans to make a version for those older model vehicles.
We are not aware of any simple aftermarket amp solutions for the E36,E38,E39, or E46 chassis models as they are a closed system that would require a full rewiring of the the entire vehicle to do an amp upgrade. The best solution we can recommend is an OEM replacement.
For the F22/F87, F23, F39, F48 with the Standard Base Hifi audio system:
The 1 series, 2 series (M2), X1 and X2 with the Base Standard HiFi audio systems are bit unique from its peers and are not compatible with our Revenant amplifier because of the system wiring. Your vehicle did not come with tweeters and the amplifier upgrades are not compatible with the coaxial speaker upgrade options that we do offer for your vehicle.
What we do offer is a Stage One speaker upgrade kit and the Ghost under seat subwoofer replacement system. Each of these systems work beautifully off of the factory source unit. While you won't get as much output as you would on a more powerful amp, we do create our speakers to be as sensitive as possible so we get every last ounce of power produced into sound waves!
Here's how we've designed our Stage One speaker kit to create a solution that is as simple and cost effective as possible, while still sounding incredible:
Our 4” replacement speakers are referred to as a "point source" or "coaxial" setup. Actually a lot of very high end speakers are built this way. The tweeter just sits in the middle of the woofer, so it's two speakers in one unit. The benefit in your case is easeful-ness of installation and that the treble and midbass will reach the listener simultaneously - resulting in more accurate acoustic imaging. Another benefit is that these coaxials are more efficient on less power than a set of components like the HiFi or HK systems, so you'll get more output on your car's amplifier. It's a win-win.
AGAIN, THESE COAXAIL SPEAKERS ARE NOT MADE TO WORK WITH AN AMPLIFIER UPGRADE!!!
Any other models:
Sorry, but we do not have an amp upgrade available for your vehicle nor do we have plans for developing one in the future. Your vehicle is either not physically compatible with our amp upgrades or is not a high production model we chose to invest time developing the amplifier for. We wish we could, but at this time our very small team simply does not have the bandwidth or capital to create an amp for every vehicle model.
If this "No Amplifier" page is not listed for your vehicle: You can try the Match UP7 amp from Audiotec Fischer if you have the standard hifi audio system. If you have a premium or Harman Kardon audio system, we do not know of a simple amplifier solution and you will want to seek a professional custom solution.
