As soon as I got into my BMW after I first bought it I could hear that the sound system was very poor quality with the mid-range and higher frequencies very blurred compared to my previous vehicle that had a premium sound system. After installing the BAVSOUND sound system I could immediately hear the huge difference in clarity and how vastly superior everything now sounds compared to the OEM system. My only regret is not having done this install immediately after purchasing the vehicle instead of suffering through months of listening to the significantly inferior factory installed speakers.

That's exactly what Bav Sound Stage 1 does. This is my 2nd stage 1 kit and I couldn't be happier with the results. Going between my 3 series and X3 is now a perfect combination of driving and audio pleasure. BAV Sound speakers are a true bargain for the results they deliver!

Compared with the stock speakers that were in the vehicle, these speakers are noticeably better. The audio is crisp and clear. There is no distortion at higher volumes. Coupled with a new amp and some new subwoofers, listing to music in my car with these speakers is tremendous and light years beyond what I had previously with the manufacturer's speakers. Installation also wasn't too bad. Took me a little longer than what they showed in the video, but then again, this was my first time replacing the stock speakers in my vehicle.

I will first say the Bavsound Speaker and Subwoofer upgrades are worth every penny!

I purposely waited 60 days before writing this review to give the speakers time to break in, I will tell you the more you use them the better they get. I generally listen to classic rock but also everything from classical to heavy metal and the speakers do not disappoint no matter what you throw at them, there is nothing quite like hearing Roger Waters fingers strum over the strings in Wish You Were Here or Keith Richards intro on Can’t You Hear Me Knocking in complete clarity with no distortion. The speakers are truly amazing and just wish they had a replacement option for the amp in my X3.

The installation is fairly straight forward and decided to tackle it myself after watching the videos, nice part is they do include everything you need to complete the install. My only suggestions would be taking your time and it is a little intimidating taking apart your car, but it is doable; on a side note it does seem extreme to take a hammer and screwdriver to your sub enclosure but once you get through the initial hit it gets easier and comes apart easily. My only quibble is in the video for the rear doors the tweeters are not really shown being removed, I will tell you it is probably the hardest part as they are securely seated and it take some force to remove them but again if you take your time they do come out.

Just to sum everything up, this was definitely a worthwhile upgrade and if you enjoy the serenity of blocking the outside world while driving then I would not hesitate to purchase.

I upgraded the BMW factory Hi-Fi speakers in my 2019 X3 M40i with the Bavsound speakers and subwoofers. They're a huge improvement. The video installation tutorials are great and the install was just like the video showed. It's a little nerve-racking to start tearing into the interior of your new car, but just follow the video instructions and you'll be fine. Can't wait for the amplifier to be available for my car. As soon as it is, I'll be buying one.

The Hi-Fi system in my BMW drastically improved with the installation of the Stage One speakers. Weeks after installation I discovered that one of the mid-range drivers in a rear door was not working. I contacted BAVSOUND and they sent a two-pack of replacement drivers, gaskets and foam that very day. I ordered sound deadening material not realizing that my car cannot use it. BAVSOUND refunded the cost as soon as I contaced them. I couldn't ask for more.
